Is there no mathematical, Fibonacci type rule that governs the number of points on a poppy-head star? 'Cos looking at these three, there probably isn't. That's an eight, a six, and a nine.
Just did a google image search, only narrowly resisted the urge to remove this picture because it's so damn similar to a million others (I swear to god I'll never take another picture of a flower ever again as long as I live.) (Ever.) (EVER!) (RRRR!!!!!!) and from what I can tell, there is no rhyme nor reason to how many points a poppy head has. Except I think maybe the bigger it gets, the more it has. But that's a completely wild guess.
