Green Lady Cambodia wants to shout out to Asian women: Own your body! Our female bodies, the shape and form, are unique! Each woman’s body is one-of-a-kind. You are special!

Your menstrual blood is also unique. That’s why we encourage all women to also “own” their menstrual blood. Don’t be ashamed of your menstrual cycle. It’s a kind of feminine power that only women possess.

We at Green Lady Cambodia believe that by embracing our bodies as they are, including our menstrual cycles, we women can develop a more positive body image of ourselves. That’s why we create, sell and use ourselves washable menstrual pads.

Since switching to washable menstrual pads, we’ve learned more about our periods and improved our health in general. With washable pads, we save money because we don’t buy new pads every month. Using eco-friendly, washable menstrual pads means we’re also not using plastic, so we send less trash to the landfill each month. Many of our customers have also told us that our washable pads are more comfortable than plastic pads and don’t trigger allergies.

Green Lady washable menstrual pads are made from natural cotton grow in Cambodia and sewn by women in Phnom Phen. Buying and using our pads not only benefits you. They also benefit working women in Cambodia!

We women are impatient for change (equal wages, a stop to female genital mutilation and end to sexual violence), but there is one way to make a difference today: switch to a washable menstrual pad and “own” your blood.
