The Royal Bank of Canada Vancouver building, well one half of it
The Royal Bank of Canada building at 675 West Hastings measures 85m (278 ft.) in height. It was designed by Blewett Dodd Architecture and S. G. Davenport, and was completed in 1931. If it looks like just one side of a typical Art Deco building, it is: originally planned to be the first half of a larger complex, the second was never built due to the Depression.
It features a Florentine Renaissance banking hall.
