Suddenly, the sky opened up
It’s been really a lucky day for me today. I went planespotting for the first time in months. It’s been a very hot and humid day and the weatherman did forecast a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorm.
See for yourself the change in weather in just the span of an hour today.
All my life I love observing weather. On a hot, humid and calm day, no matter how sunny it seems, if the wind suddenly changes direction and wind speed starts picking up, run for cover. You probably have 10 to 30 minutes before heavy rain, strong wind and thunderstorms arrive.
It certainly was the case today.
As soon as there was a change in wind, I started looking for cover. Thankfully I made it to a bus shelter before the torrential rain started and I was dry, more importantly, the Canon stayed dry too!
