Rosewater pannacotta & failed names!
I used cadbury, should have used a firmer chocolate was a disaster so I gave up. I almost made everybodies names.
A desert that looks great with minimal effort
2 600mls tubs of cream
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
200g castor sugar
2 tablespoons rosewater (from the colourings section of the supermarket)
3 level dessertspoons gelatine
1 cup castor sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons rosewater
A drop of pink Cochineal food colouring
Place all ingredients in a pan and heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved and then remove from the heat.
Dissolve the gelatine in 125mls of boiling water.
Stir until all dissolved, then pour into the cream mixture.
Pour the lot into the moulds and refrigerate overnight.
Place all ingredients in a small pan and heat through until the sugar is dissolved. Then bring to the boil for five minutes.
At this stage you could add a punnet of strawberries or frozen berries and serve on the side with the pannacotta or you can pour it over.
