John Ford's Point, Monument Valley, Utah

This is a Navajo sitting on his horse on the famous John Ford's Point (named after film director John Ford) in Monument Valley, Utah. Monument Valley is one of the most beautiful places in the west to photograph, but it's very remote (thankfully for the Navajos). I used a Nikon 5700 (oh I miss that camera!) on a Bogen tripod. There are a number of free Shooting Tutorials on my site (including one on why I always Use a Tripod). Copyright 2008 Jeff Wignall.
