Light of my life 2/52

Newer Older

Hello everyone!
Well this is a little out of my comfort zone but that's what I am trying to do this year by participating in this project! I took this in my bedroom while Kia was laying on the bed on a fuzzy black blanket. I was standing on a trunk to get some elevation for a little different pov. I was using a flash (Whoa that never happens!) and bounced it off my white closet doors to hit & light the left side of Kia.

I thought it was different so decided to post & see what the pros think :) Any comments, improvements, criticism, Likes/dislikes are welcome!

Thanks!

Oh... & I am headed out for little JD's shows Sat-Monday so I will catch up with you all on Monday if I miss you tonight!

Have a great weekend :)

I think this if fantastic! What great lighting - it looks very natural, like she is sitting next to a window, rather than a flash. Great job!

Hey Mindy this is so cool! Great creative shooting! That's one of the super things about the 52 weeks, lots of opportunities to make yourself do something different. I'm trying to get back into a bit more regular Flickr routine. Not there yet but much better than total absence that I had going for the couple months previous. Hope all is great with you.

lighting is fab and I LOVE the angles of the legs as anyone who owns a weim like we do, know how "bambi-ish" they can be so this really supports that....great capture

This is so stunning, I don't know how I missed it the first time! WOW! Amazing, and indeed, so different from your usual shots of the girls. Kia is so beautiful and looks like a puppy! Wonderful use of flash!
