Large hall of Abu Simbel

Travellers looked around in the large pillared hall of Abu Simbel. Eight 30-foot statues of Rameses II dominates the large hall. Built by the mightiest of the Pharaohs, Rameses II, with four massive colossi of himself adorning the facade, Abu Simbel is the most famous of the ancient Egyptian monuments after the Pyramids and Sphinx.
