Shrine of the Cathach

The Cathach, "the Battler," is a seventh century manuscript, said to have been transcribed by St Columba himself. It gets its name from the fact that it was often brought out during battle to ensure victory of whichever side possessed it. This seems to have worked out pretty well until the shrine was captured in battle in 1497...
