How hard could it be - right?
We're rewiring the entire kitchen from scratch - which is actually a lot simpler than trying to figure out what goes where now - and why. When we're through, it will be the one place in the house that I know is wired right, and safe. We're also finding and removing lots of unsafe wiring that was done when the house was built, and over the years by people who really shouldn't have been fooling around with electricity. Ever..
With the walls and ceilings removed, it's as close to new construction as I have ever done, and I have a whole new understanding of why the trades hate working on old houses and charge less for new construction.
