Water Balloon Toss
Students held its 3rd annual Great Pumpkin Smash on Nov. 8 with pleasant weather that eluded organizers one week earlier. Members of the public were encouraged to bring leftover pumpkins to be hurled by the club's trebuchet. The club received a total 175 food items and $50 in cash donations - more than the combined totals of the previous two years' events. The remnants of the pumpkins were collected for composting by an Elon faculty member. Food and donations benefited the Loaves & Fishes Christian Food Ministry.
