Synergi Photovoice exhibition: Manchester
The Manchester launch of the Synergi Photovoice exhibition took place at the Z-Arts Centre on 8 October 2018. The photographs and narratives of ethnic minority people with lived experience of severe mental illness, and carers, were displayed to great effect. Speakers included some of the participants: Zome, Anthony and Verona, along with Pauline Witter from African and Caribbean Mental Health Services (ACMHS) with a special performance by poet Keisha Thompson. Participating organisations are LMCP, ACMHS, Mind in Haringey and the Psychosis Therapy Project at Islington Mind.
