Michele and I discovered the Original Pancake House while in Chicago about a year ago. We discovered bacon-filled pancakes there, and we started going to the local branch in Redondo Beach, where the Sunday wait is about 30 minutes long, but worth it, for their insane corned beef hash, potato pancakes and the most evil thing ever put to a breakfaster - bacon pancakes.
