Libby Sharp Rides the Moon SOLD!
Libby Sharp rides the moon at night
While all the children sleep
Past "goodnight Mom" and "Goodnight Moon"
And "Lord, my soul to keep".
Miss Libby rides upon the moon
And brings the children dreams
Blows kisses to their sleeping brows
While starlight softly gleams.
Libby Sharp takes away the moon
Just as the break of day
Arrives to hurry folks in town
To work and school and play.
She doesn't stay to see the smiles
On babies as they wake
But Libby will come with the moon again
And good care of them she'll take.
