Concorde at Cairo
1984. Passengers board Concorde G-BOAB at Cairo for a flight to London.
They had been on a 7-day holiday to Cairo and Luxor. Some had also flown outbound on the same aircraft.
The sun had just set but once the aircraft had taken off and climbed Westward, South of Crete, going supersonic the sun was seen to rise above the horizon again. A Concorde speciality.
