Nature’s color therapy

The west side of the Black Mountains in the Death Valley National Park is splashed with an array of colors. These colors are proof of the ancient volcanic activities that occurred in the area millions of years ago. Volcanic deposits rich in compounds, such as iron oxides and chlorite, create the spectacular rainbow effect. A truly remarkable creation of Mother Nature!
