    One of the Sultan's favorite Belly Dancers from the previously posted photograph. So, at least, we know the name of one of them.
    From a series of stereoviews made by an unidentified german photographer.

    p.s. After some research, there is some evidence that these photographs have not been taken in Africa, but in Germany. In the late 19. and early 20th century the so called "Völkerschauen" (Human Zoos) were public exhibits of humans.
    These pictures could have been taken in 1904 during a show called "Die Tunesen" (The Tunisians).

      Great picture! I am always interested in everything regarding Human zoos (Völkerschau). Especially Inuit/Eskimo!
