Note, 156444 was originally owned and operated by British Railways, and passed to Angel Train Contracts Limited in 1994 as part of the privatisation of British Railways. Angel Train Contracts Limited was renamed Angel Trains Limited on 16th May 2000. 156444 was named Councillor Bill Cameron at Carlisle railway station on 26th September 2009, and was on lease to Northern Rail Limited


Construction of SHELAGH OF ESKDALE started in 1955 when the chassis was built by Heathcoates Limited. The David Curwen designed body was fitted by Severn-Lamb Limited and the locomotive was completed in 1969
