Nice couch and rug. Wish I could fit a comfortable couch into my classroom!

Where did you get those great book bins?

      ms. fish...

They are rubbermaid dish pans - I have seen them at Target and Lowes (and randomly at other places). They are great - tall enough to support the books and the handles make it easy to move bins around.

The book basket labels I made.
The genre signs came from thick.htm.

Where did you get your rug from? It's EXACTLY what I'm looking for, but a little bigger, for my small group area. I like how it's not "cutesy", because cutesy rugs can be really busy and distracting.

This is such a comfy reading station and I love the cool colors. Baby blue is my all time favorite color and this is so inviting. I know your students enjoy this area.

I have been looking all over for those clear book holders but every time I ask someone about "dish pans" they look at me like I'm crazy. Eloiseney would you e-mail me at Thanks. btw, I LOVE your classroom!

I was wondering how you made your shelves or where you found them? Are they something that was just in the classroom?
