Into The Void (Explored)
Visiting Botallack is always a must for me whenever I visit Cornwall. It had not been a great week away having foot problems, so to visit this location and have conditions so calm and moody, I couldn't believe my luck.
Shooting from this particular vantage point is next to impossible under normal windy conditions, so I thought I would experiment with some ultra long shutter times. I appreciate LE isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I couldn't resist that moody sky...
Joining me on this particular shoot was fellow Flickr friends Dom Haughton and Lee Finney, two very talented and passionate photographers. Before long we crossed the narrow ridgeway. By the way, there's not a great deal of that left and I don't think it will be long before access to shelter behind that trusty old boulder is gone forever. Both Dom and Lee scrambled down as far a humanly possible. I was sad I couldn't go any further, but there's always another time. Overall a terrific afternoon and early evenings shooting was had by all.
Thanks very much for viewing, take care and being that I am not working now until Monday, a great weekend to all... :-)
