Image Description Coney Island Polar Bears frolic in icy 40dg F waters. waters. Much warmer than the 28dg F air blowing at 21mph. The day before I blew out my DuneCam ground controller by pluging it into my 15v lipo charger instead of the 5v charger it was accustomed to. So at the last minute I used some Gorilla tape to lock the rig to shoot straight down. A CHDK intravalometer in the G9 gave me exposure bracketed shots every 10 seconds. The only turning and tilting in this series were due to wind changes and gusts. With no video down link I had to "dead reckon" the camera's position and make adjustments by taking in or letting out kite line and by walking around. The FF16 flew admirably with a 15' fuzzy tail. The G9 showed soft corners in most of the shots but did a solid job overall.
