Roman Centurion 1 By Barthezz Brick

- Roman Centurion of the Roman Empire -

Those Legionary need a commander so i made this custom Centurion out of some brickwarrior parts and some custom self-made items.

- Background:

A centurion was a professional officer of the Roman army after the Marian reforms of 107 BC. Most centurions commanded groups of centuries of around 80 men but senior centurions commanded cohorts or took senior staff roles in their legion. Their symbol of office was the vine staff, with which they disciplined even Roman citizens protected from other forms of beating by the Porcian Laws.

- Equipment:

On the march in unfriendly terrain, the Centurion would be loaded down with (brickwarriors) leather armour + custom leather self-made shoulder armor, a shield, a helmet, a short sword + working custom scabbard (it looks bulky but the tip of the sword is wider), a custom made leather belt/skirt, a wollen red under layer for that cold europian nights, a pair of heavy black sandals (custom made) and last but not least a custom made red cloak.
