Modern Pagans/Ancient Realms 2016 Exhibition and Opening
The Minneapolis Collective of Pagan Arts presented "Modern Pagans/Ancient Realms" at the Vine Arts Center from July 8-29, 2016. This exhibition sought to provide a partial glimpse into the "intentional village" of modern Pagan imagination and to ask, *what does this revival of pre-modern religions contribute to the larger conversation?* (In addition, a special panel/discussion on "Cultural Inspiration versus Appropriation" was offered during the exhibition as a topic relevant to this cultural awakening.)

Opening Night featured spoken word performance by Louis Alemayehu, accompanied by Joseph Damman on guitar (see video clips). Closing Night featured a Harvest Ritual which transformed the exhibition area into sacred space for the duration (featured in a separate album). Photos in this album show an approximate "panorama" view, beginning with the curatorial statement at the entrance and circling clockwise through the space. Images of artworks are mixed with opening night photos.
