The Chinese Castle, Drottningholm, Sweden

The Chinese Castle lies in the park of

the Royal Castle of Drottningholm near Stockholm. It was originally built as a birthday present from the King Adolf Fredrik to his wife the queen Lovisa Ulrika in 1753. In 1763-69 it was rebuilt with more lasting materials. It is now a World Heritage of Unesco. In summer it can be visited inside. (Fotographing unfortunately not allowed.)
