Will-o'the-wisps [caeleste-ignus-fatuus]

Fiery in appearance these celestial beings are almost always malevolent. For travellers who are lost, the Will-o'-the-Wisp's light is an alluring sight, but a savvy traveller knows the light of a Wisp may lead them into dangerous territory, perhaps a black hole, or magnetar.

Scientists aren't sure why these usually solitary beings congregate under the Eye of Revelation, but evidence suggests they are returning to their birthplace to spawn. But whatever the reason, even at 444lys from Earth they temp the unwary with dreams of adventure.
