This picture was taken with a Nikon D3300 and a 600mm-objective. The exposure time was 1/1000s and ISO was set to 400. The picture shows a researcher which is observing pollinators on experimental plants. Because wild bees can be quite small and a minimal distance to the plants should be held, binoculars were sometimes very useful. Conducting science can sometimes look weird to a stranger, but is interesting nevertheless.
