2012 Sketchbook Project
Art House Co-op is a Brooklyn-based company that organizes global, collaborative art projects and I decided to jump into their 2012 Sketchbook Project: a library featuring more than 12,000 artists' sketchbooks from 100 countries and counting. I got the book and spent a few months drawing, sketching and, of course, screenprinting. Many of the sketches were starting points for final screenprints, which is generally how we start, so I figured "why not put them all in one book." It was a lot of fun and here is the end result! Once it's complete you have to send it back where it becomes a permanent part of the Brooklyn Art Library and it tours the country for others to check out and view. You can learn more about it from the link below, and if you happen to be in any of the states it's going to, check it out - literally.
