2017 CADRE conference - Oklahoma State University
Oklahoma State University's Coalition for Advancing Digital Research & Education (CADRE) is a collaborative, campus-wide initiative jointly led by the Office of the Vice President for Research and the OSU Libraries that provides researchers with assistance in all aspects of computational and data-intensive research.

The inaugural CADRE spring conference on April 12, 2017, brings together a consortium of regional researchers and leaders interested in the advancement of the following: high performance computing, high speed networks, data analysis and visualization, creating and implementing data management plans, applying best practices for organizing data, and storing, archiving and sharing data once a project is completed.

Researchers and aspiring researchers (students, faculty and staff) from all disciplines were welcome to attend. Registration was free.

An evening poster session was held on April 11, 2017, and a "People's Choice" winner was chosen by attendees. Congratulations to graduate students Navin Sakthivel and Shivram Tabibu from the OSU Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering department on their "People's Choice" award.
