Acts 1:8 One Day Mission Trip
MORE THAN 2,500 volunteers from 190 churches from across the state fanned out in north Pulaski County in central Arkansas for the seventh annual Acts 1:8 One Day Mission Trip Oct. 7.

Outreach activities performed by volunteers of all ages were numerous, and designed to impact the area in the most significant and life-changing ways possible. They included street evangelism, prayer walking, home repair and renovation, medical-dental clinics, food distribution, Laundromat services, senior adult ministries, children’s activities, fishing derbies, car washes and yard cleanup.

When the day ended, 35 people made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ during the Acts 1:8 One Day event, according to statistics provided by Breck Freeman, associate team leader of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention mission team. In all, 19 block parties were held, 117 patients seen at medical and dental clinics, along with 15 house repair projects.
