National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children Sept. 9, 2017
A service to observe the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children was held Sept. 9 at the Memorial Garden for the Unborn at the Arkansas Right to Life offices in Little Rock.

“Pro-life Americans will honor the memory of the more than 50 million unborn victims of abortion” at services across the nation, said Rose Mimms, executive director of Arkansas Right to Life.

“Solemn prayer services will be held simultaneously at gravesites around the country where abortion victims have been buried, as well as at many other memorial sites dedicated in their honor,” she said.

Father Thomas Keller, retired priest and chaplain of Catholic Diocese of Little Rock, presided at the service. Other speakers at the event included Mimms, and Donna Clifton, who had an abortion 35 years go.

"God brought me out of a deep, huge, dark tunnel," said Clifton. Today she speaks in churches and among other pro-life groups to educate the public to the horrors and emotional impact of abortion.
