The next port of call on our cruise was Antigua.

Betsy and I were on deck to greet the rising sun, and as the ship docked in the capital, St. John's.

We went ashore and visited Nelson's Dockyard National Park. We visited the site that gave the park it's name, the dockyard used by English admiral Lord Nelson when he was stationed in Antigua in the late 1700s.

We later went to another part of the park, Shirley Heights. From there we got spectacular views of the coast with the blue ocean and magnificent cliffs.

It was then time to get back to the ship. We were on deck as the ship left Antigua, and later as the sun sank on a wonderful day.
