Kilmore shed IR

    Newer Older

A typical Australian scene. The grass has mostly died out, so cattle are grazing on what ever plants are available. Bare paddocks mean they are grazing everywhere available. These old sheds are right near the Melbourne-Sydney train line (100m to the right, out of frame)

Very cool. I'm currently about half way through Bill Bryson's book, "In a Sunburned Country". It does look barren!

Did you alter the colour on this shot?
Amazing. I bet it would look different now. Totally green.

It is an IR shot, so it came out of the camera with a very-reddish colour cast.

A red-blue channel swap was made in post-production.

This shot was also pre-bushfires, so the scene is probably very different now!
