Chicago Transit Authority El car no. 1 is Seashore's newest addition, having arrived in July 2016. It was built in 1960 as part of CTA's 1-50 fleet, using parts salvaged from no longer needed PCC trolleys. This was one of four experimental cars equipped for high speed testing on the Skokie Swift.
