First Responder Programme(Post Crash Care)
‘First Aid Care’
Official statistics reveal that approx 1, 40,000 people die every year on roads in India. Many of these lives can be saved as most of the accidents are ‘Predictable’ and ‘Preventable’ in nature. Another reason is, in an accident not all die instantly, some get minor injuries and some get critically injured. Critical on this score is the time period, the ‘Golden Hour’ or the first hour in which prompt medical treatment may most likely prevent the fatality or other dire consequences.
To save life of a road crash victim it is imperative that people are made aware and sensitize upon taking right course of action in a situation of Road Traffic Crash even if they are not a first aid/paramedic. Our sessions are based on the objective to prepare individuals as ‘First Aid Care Givers’ and Good Samaritans so that they could handle the situation at the accident site and help a Road Crash Victim on the spot and during first crucial ‘Golden Hour'.
