Comic Relief Cake

In the mid 90's Rosebud made a giant photo-op cake for Comic Relief. What was unusual was that the cake was to be hit by a car ( funny) and had to be made to break apart on contact ( funnier). So ... the inside was filled with recyclable peanuts and vegitable shortening. The outside was foam core covered with icing. We also used an edible trasfer technique for the Comic Relief logos.

Because of it's size, this cake was also decorated in a rented truck. . Here , the finishing touches are being done at the location site..
