Lego LHC micro models for the Sydney Science Festival
CoEPP organised sets of Large Hadron Collider (LHC) micro models for a family day at Sydney's Powerhouse Museum. The Lego bricks were sourced individually and we spent the better part of the day sorting the bricks into sets and building an LHC (or two...)
The micro models were designed by Nathan Readioff, a PhD student at the University of Liverpool. For more info about these and other Build Your Own Particle Detector projects see build-your-own-particle-detector.org
