Azalea 'Snow'

This early Kurume azalea 'Snow' is the hardiest and most profuse bloomer of the semi-dwarf evergreen azaleas. It grows to about three feet and seems to thrive on neglect. I do prepare special acidified soil for them because my soil is quite alkaline. I like the anthers on this bloom -- they look like tiny silvery pink pearls.
