Tom Bombadil's House

A free interpretation of the house of Lord of the Ring's Tom Bombadil, built for my LotR-project.

This was a quite difficult build in a lot of ways, but in the end I'm very happy with it. The house itself was definately the most fun part: I used different techniques and a mix of brown and reddish brown for the wood structure, tried to make the wall beneath not too messy and finally came up with this roof technique which turned out really nicely in my opinion.

The extention was extremely challenging. Read more in the describtion of the bonus picture.

For the landscaping I tried to use some other colors than reg. green and d. tan, so I used olive, lime, med. d, flesh, d. tan, flesh, gold, med. azure, d. azure - and I pretty much ran out of parts... The altbricks leafes were a good alternative, which make a soft transition from lime to olive. Trees and rockwork behind are pretty simple but I think they are ok.

So, let me know what you think, so I might change something before I take the photos for my LotR-project.
