Cascais has a small fishing port as well as unport of modern sailing.


To see to Cascais:


- The Church Nossa Senhora da Assunção, date of the 17th century. Many azulejo tiles of the 18th and the beautiful paints(paintings).


- The Church Nossa Senhora back Navegantes dates the 17th century and contains a lot of marble inside.


- The Fortress. It is there that the royal family lived. She(it) dates the 17th century and is known under the name of "Cidadela". Inside there is Nossa Senhora da Vitória's small chapel. There are also the other small fortresses in the surroundings: s Jacinto and S. Jorge, of the 17th, who were a part of the defensive line of Lisbon built in 17th century, after the end of the Spanish dominion
