Fourche Mountain Salamander

One of the Ouachita Mountains' three endemic plethodon salamanders, this species is mostly black on top with a few large white spots. At this location, this species seemed to live almost exclusively under logs, unlike the Rich Mountain and Caddo Mountain salamanders, which prefer rocks.
