Greek coffee

The roasted beans are ground extremely fine. They are just barely boiled (with water) in a pot called a briki. The dregs settled to the bottom of the pot, which arrives at the table very hot.

Sugar is often added before boiling, but I didn't experience the intense sweetness I associate with Turkish coffee.

Whatever you do, don't let the dregs get in your mouth -- Yuck!
