2014-12-06 - Venturer's Scuba Diving (Pope's Eye)
These photos were taken during a course where 2 Venturers were training to become PADI Rescue Divers. To become Rescue Divers they had to complete a number of different lifesaving search and rescue scenarios, first at Rye Pier and then at Popes Eye. As a marine national park, Popes Eye is one of Melbourne's iconic dive sites, always with an abundance of colourful fish species on parade. In these photos you can see many of these fish, a lazy seal basking on the rocks and an Australasian Gannet from the rookery at Popes Eye.
