Oct. 11, 2015 Torah Scribe Event
Rabbi Zvi Chaim Pincus, a scribe of the Jewish Bible, or Torah, began writing the Hebrew text as Stanford students gathered around to celebrate the creation of a new community Torah on Sunday, Oct. 11 at Hillel@Stanford’s Koret Pavilion. The event kicked off the 50th anniversary of Hillel@Stanford, whose first full-time director served in 1965.
