Aligning the Food System to Meet Dietary Needs: Fruits and Vegetables
The World Food Center hosted a workshop discussing the role of fruits and vegetables to improve nutrition.
The event was divided into three sessions looking at 1) Optimal Nutrition and the Consumption of Fruits and Vegetables, 2) Improving the Availability of Fruits and Vegetables and, 3) Metrics to Evaluate and Improve Diet Quality. The objective was to provide recommendations for development strategies to improve the availability, affordability and demand of fruits and vegetables.
