Esta lagarta pertence à família Papilionidae, e se alimenta em diversas espécies de Citrus, essa da foto estava num pé de tangerina. Quando se sentem ameaçadas, elas exibem um órgão bifurcado em forma de Y chamado de Osmeterium (o que caracteriza essa família), que exala um odor desagradável.

This caterpillar belongs to the family Papilionidae, and feeds on several species of Citrus, this of the photo was in a tangerine tree. When they feel threatened, they display a bifurcated Y-shaped organ called Osmeterium (which characterizes this family), which gives off an unpleasant odor.
