GULF OF ADEN (June 7, 2019) Sailors and Marines watch a UH-1Y Huey helicopter assigned to the Black Knights of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 264 (Reinforced) depart the flight deck of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24). Arlington is part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
