Dione - Rev 27
Three-frame mosaic of Saturn's moon Dione, acquired by the Cassini spacecraft on August 18, 2006. This image looks across Dione's daylit south polar region. Much of the night side of the moon is lit by Saturnshine, revealing the massive tectonic fracture system that dominates the moon's trailing hemisphere. This image was taken from a distance of ~157,000 km.
