Colorado Wildfire Sky
Week 42_Clean or Dirty
As the huge Cameron Peak wildfire in northeastern Colorado made another outbreak, now probably within 25 miles of our home, huge plumes of smoke began covering the entire sky over the area. It has more severely affected some of our friends who live closer to the fire itself who have had to evacuate or be prepared to evacuate. This photo is of the sky over our house at 12:30 p.m. The sun was struggling to shine through, and some of the bare branches were eerily highlighted against the definitely dirty sky!
