Turquoise Water Float

This is my family floating in the river that flows out of the Xel-Ha park and into the Caribbean sea. As you can see the water is a bright turquoise color as it emerges from an underground river flowing through limestone. We visited the park on a very busy day during the Christmas holiday season. Lots of tubes and snorkelers out enjoying the water and fish. This shot was taken with my Nikon P7100 in a waterproof case so I could get very close to and even down into the water.
