Barcelona, La Rambla
La Rambla is a street in central Barcelona that is popular with tourists and with locals. A tree lined pedestrian mall that stretches 1,2 kilometres connecting the Placa d' Catalunya to the Christopher Columbus monument at Port Vell. The street is characterized by pavement cafes, souvenir kiosks, buskers and artists all plying their trade. This all adds to the vibe and character of this part of Barcelona. There are also a number of markets just off La Rambla that sell all manner of foodstuffs, mainly fresh produce.
